Layer123 stands behind the integrity of the NetTAs, and we appreciate all organisations' authentic participation. We want to emphasise Judging Rule (5) - these are authentic and merit-based awards, based solely on the collated assessment of the Judges. We manage a transparent process for the NetTAs and there is no exception (see Rules & Procedures).

Layer123 is delighted to announce that the Network Transformation Awards & Gala Dinner 2019 will take place in The Hague alongside SDN NFV World Congress on 16th October 2019.

Submission Criteria

Please answer all the following questions using the NetTA Submission Form – Assessment Responses:

  1. Describe the new service and highlight its unique innovative features.
  2. How are customers benefiting from this service and what impact is it having on the market?
  3. What is the transformative role of SDN and NFV in this new service?
  4. Describe the service’s commercial success in terms of strong revenue growth and performance.
  5. Demonstrate how you are delivering transformative customer service.
  6. Identify key partnerships that are essential to the development and success of the service.
  7. Explain how you implemented a successful rollout of the service, highlighting key milestones.

NetTAs Guidelines, Rules and Procedures


Network Transformation Awards are the Industry’s Premier Awards for Global Leadership & Achievement, which serve to Recognise, Celebrate, and Inspire success in moving the market forward.

Layer123 manages an open and transparent process, so that Awards are made with the highest credibility and integrity.

The NetTAs Judging Panel is comprised from the industry’s foremost analysts working in the SDN, NFV and Automation domain. Winners can be confident to receive an authentic Award that highlights their leadership and achievement, and gives credit to themselves and their company.

The NetTAs Guidelines, Rules and Procedures for Submission, Sponsorship, Judging and Announcement are published below. Rules will be expanded where further interpretation or clarification of NetTAs policies and procedures is necessary, and published here for reference. 

  

Submissions:

 

Layer123 welcomes all bona-fide submissions and nominations for Network Transformation Awards. The process is open to all, without charge.

 

1. NetTAs is open to any company operating in the telecoms industry worldwide.

2. Entries must be submitted, written in English, using only the online form 

3. Submissions must be received before the published deadline 18th August, 2019.

4. Entries are open to all and free of charge: Layer123 does not levy an entry fee.

5. You may submit more than one entry – use a separate NetTAs Submission Form for each.

6. You may enter your own organisation, or on behalf of a different 3rd party - for example, a customer, a supplier, a partner or an individual.

7. You must inform 3rd parties that they are being nominated, obtain their approval, and provide their own contact email.

8. 3rd party nominations without valid 3rd party contact information will be disqualified.

9. You are not required to be a Congress Sponsor or Exhibitor, in order to participate in NetTAs.

10. You are not required to be an Awards Sponsor, in order to participate in NetTAs.

11. Please provide complete responses in your submission (Assessment Points cannot be given by the judges for missing, incomplete or irrelevant information).

12. All information must be provided using the NetTAs Submission Form – no further information about your submission(s) may be provided to Layer123 nor to Judges.

13. All information provided in the NetTAs Submission Forum is considered confidential, and made known only to those involved in the submission and judging process. You may request an NDA, if necessary.

14. No information about other organisations' submissions is available from Layer123.

15. Should your submission be shortlisted, the “Public Synopsis” information will be published by Layer123.

16. Submissions are capped at two categories per organisation (This includes submissions on behalf of third parties).

Judging:
 
Layer123’s objective is to manage an open and transparent process, so that Awards are made with the highest credibility and integrity. The NetTAs Judging Panel is comprised from the industry’s foremost analysts and operators working in the SDN, NFV and automation domain, who are highly regarded for their breadth of knowledge and expertise. Judges are required to work impartially, and within these Rules; Layer123 thanks them for their time, participation and support.
 
1. Layer123 is unable to provide more details about the NetTAs judging process: all available information is published openly on this webpage.
2. If there are insufficient nominations for an Award category, it will not be merged with another similar category but will be considered null and void at Layer123’s discretion.
3. If an Award category is over-subscribed, one or more related categories may be created at Layer123’s discretion.
4. Entries are judged independently by a public panel of top analysts, under NDA.
5. Layer123 does not influence or over-ride the assessment of Judges.
6. All submissions are assessed against published criteria and graded using Assessment Points.
7. Judges will use only the specific information provided in the NetTAs Submission Forms, also informed by their market knowledge and experience.
8. No further information about your submission(s) may be provided to Layer123 nor to Judges, after the close of nominations.
9. Judges may not accept or request additional information from organisations about their NetTAs submission(s).
10. Judges may not accept offers or other inducements to influence a favourable outcome.
11. Judges do not receive financial compensation from Layer123 for their participation. Judges assess multiple entries across multiple categories on a matrix basis; no one Judge is responsible for any one outcome.
12. Judges have no way of knowing who the winners of particular Awards will be.
13. Organisations may not contact Judges about their own NetTAs submissions, other organisations’ submissions, or their role in the NetTAs judging process.
14. Organisations found to be engaging in unfair practice, any breach of these Rules, or behaviour bringing NetTAs into disrepute, will be disqualified from participation.
15. Judges found to be engaging in unfair practice, any breach of these Rules, or behaviour bringing NetTAs into disrepute, will be barred from the NetTAa Judging Panel.

Announcements:
 
1. NetTAs winners are announced at the end of the day on the 16th October, 2019.
2. No pre-announcement of winners or other awarding information is available beforehand to any organisation, without exception.
3. Organisations may not contact Layer123 or Judges, in order to discover information about winners; no Judge has this information.
4. NetTAs winners are featured prominently by Layer123, during and after the Congress.
5. NetTAs winners are featured across major media channels including Capacity Media (Official Media Partner) and Telecom TV, (Official TV Partner) for the NetTAs.
6. "NetTAs winner" promotional graphics/logo will be distributed to all winners.
